Aarti Shyamsunder, Ph.D., the founder of COSI, is currently a Global DEI Solutions Consultant for YSC Consulting, based in Navi Mumbai, India. Prior to this, she ran her own firm Psymantics Consulting for six years, where she focused primarily on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), assessment and leadership development. Aarti obtained her PhD in Industrial-Organizational psychology from the University of Akron (2008) and has worked at Kronos (hiring solutions), Infosys (leadership) and Catalyst (D&I). Apart from authoring several publications and presenting at global conferences, Aarti is also an invited speaker at various events and was recognized as a ‘young HR game changer in India’, in 2013’s “Are You in The List?” awards.
Dr. Shreya Sarkar-Barney is the CEO and founder of Human Capital Growth (HCG). A deep conviction that the use of evidence-based methods creates fair and equitable workplaces, influences much of Shreya’s work. In 2019, Shreya was awarded the Scientist-Practitioner presidential recognition by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She advises organizations on the benefits of using science and prior-evidence to guide people decisions. Shreya has championed the use of talent analytics with major technology giants, which has influenced their program design and investment decisions. Her thought leadership on the future of work is now used to redesign organizational structures to enable fluid collaboration and problem solving. A significant portion of Shreya’s time is spent uncovering unbiased and efficacious science-based practices, to help drive extraordinary outcomes. Through her work, she aims to create hope and optimism for more fulfilled work experiences, and inspire individuals and organizations to push the limits of what’s possible. Shreya holds an affiliate research scientist appointment with the Center for Effective Organizations, at the University of Southern California. She serves on the boards of the HR Strategy Forum and City of Vacaville, Economic Development Advisory Committee. She is on the editorial board of the SIOP Professional Practice Series – a book series that brings evidence-based practice from the field of industrial and organizational psychology to solving today’s most pressing talent management issues in organizations.
Comila Shahani-Denning is Professor and Director of the Industrial/Organizational Master’s Program at Hofstra University. She received her B.A. degree from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India and M.A. and Ph.D. from Rice University, Houston, TX. She has served as the Director of the Master’s Program for over fifteen years and supervises students at the Masters and doctoral level. She teaches courses in research methods, industrial psychology, organizational psychology, and personnel selection at the undergraduate, Masters, and doctoral levels. She also teaches the internship courses in both graduate programs where she oversees student internships. Dr. Shahani-Denning is the immediate Past President of METRO (New York Metropolitan Association of Applied Psychology) and continues to serve on the Executive Board of METRO and COSI (Community for Organizational Sciences in India). Her research and applied interests lie in the area of recruitment and selection decision making, work-life balance, and leadership development.
Charu Khanna is an organizational consultant who designs behavioural learning, e-learning programs and interactive modules; teaches organizational behaviour at a Master’s level; and conducts applied research. Earlier, she worked on leadership development and assessment at Aon Hewitt (now Kincentric) Mumbai. Prior to that she designed surveys, evaluated leadership development programs, conducted compensation studies, and developed assessment tools at HumRRO, a boutique human resources research and consulting firm in the Washington DC area. Charu obtained her MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She also has diplomas in experiential education, organization development and journalism.
Yoshima Somvanshi is a practicing consultant with over 10 years of experience in OD, Talent Management and HR. She holds a Master’s in Organizational Psychology from London. She also holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a MBA in HR from India. She is certified in administration, implementation and interpretation of Hogan Assessments and Denison Culture & Leadership assessments. She is a certified GrowMore Coach (in process of ICF certification). She is an International Affiliate Member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), USA.
Aditi Sachdev, PhD., works as a Senior People Research Scientist at Wonder. She is on the People Insights and Experience team and is responsible for partnering with business to develop, validate, and audit recruiting and talent assessments. She serves as the strategic partner for people measurements and methodology and the key research designer for internal survey research. She has published book chapters, articles in peer-reviewed journals and on blog sites in the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), decision-making, and employee well-being research areas. She earned her doctorate in Applied Organizational Psychology and M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University, New York.
Rohini D’Souza is a certified Talent Development Consultant and has designed, developed and delivered training programs across different levels and has been associated with various clients such as Hindustan Unilever, Raymonds, Ajmera group, Blue Star, UBM, Aditya Birla Group, JSW, Times of India, Piramal Enterprises, Kotak Mahindra, Bombay Dyeing, Glenmark Pharma etc.
She has been involved in developing and conducting leadership development journeys; mentoring programs, Train the Trainer programs, programs on Personal Effectiveness, Training on Interviewing Skills for HR teams etc. She is also a certified coach and has coached high potentials, executives from mid to senior levels across various sectors as well as entrepreneurs.
As a Talent Development Consultant , Rohini has also conducted several assessment centres for senior managers from across the world and she has been involved in designing and implementing performance management , goal setting, talent acquisition and talent management related interventions for her clients.
Rohini has a Masters Degree In Industrial and Organizational Psychology from University of Mumbai and an MBA in Human Resources.
